Our Future Projects

1) School Project

  • Build an elementary school in Duk and provide educational materials such as exercise books, text books, pencils, pens, markers, and rulers

  • Provide uniforms for elementary school students back home in Duk, S.Sudan
  • Encourage adult literacy among members who never acquired necessary reading and writing skills
  • Promote peace and unity through interaction among students and entire community, both in Diaspora and Sudan
  • Promote social harmony within families and with other communities in S. Sudan and around the world
2) Agricultural Needs
  • Do research on the current climate and landscape of this region and the history of successful crops in the area
  • Receive consultation from agricultural engineers on the most efficient way to build up this program (this consultant should work together with an irrigation expert)
  • Obtain in-kind donations of seeds, tools, and essential farming equipment including fertilizers and manures

We are hoping to begin building one of each project above in the beginning of 2008 and provide all the necessary supplies to keep the workflow until our needed goals are done. We as an organization will partner with any churches and business corporations having an interest in sponsoring the project they like, and it will be in their recognition. However, all projects will be run under the OneWithUs organization. There is urgent need for services to help the returnee -- please be one with us to help those who need help.

We know that our people, our friends and families of Duk Padiet in Southern Sudan are desperate for help at this time as repatriation begins. We have gathered together as a group, creating One With Us, to seek friends and supporters like you, to become one with us in rebuilding the south of Sudan. We believe in the generosity of human beings and their desire to help those who are suffering and less fortunate. We hope that you will join with us in the support the people of Southern Sudan as they rebuild in Duk Padiet, restoring their lives, their dignity, and their traditions.
